Continuing Physiotherapy Education – 1

First Continuing Physiotherapy Education (CPE) programme was held on 03.12.2022 at college auditorium. Dr.Suresh Franklin, MPT(Sports), Director and Founder of Synergy Physiocare Centre, Anna Nagar had been invited as Speaker of the occasion. BPT Third year, Second year and First year students had attended it. “Exercise Prescriptions for Musculoskeletal Dysfunctions and Sports Rehabilitation” was taken as topic.

Continuing Physiotherapy Education – 2

Second Continuing Physiotherapy Education (CPE) programme was held on 15.03.2023 at college auditorium. Dr. R. Raja, MPT(Ortho), CVA, CCAM, PGDYN, DVMS, MD(Acu), PHD, DMT, DAT, Founder and President of Royal Healthcare, Tambaram had been invited as Speaker of the occasion. BPT Final year, Third year and Second year students had attended it. “Current Trends in Physiotherapy” was taken as topic.

WCPT Day – 2022

World Physiotherapy Day was celebrated at our College campus. On 7th September 2022, a “Free Physiotherapy camp” was conducted at Medical College & Hospital.  About 150 beneficiaries from nearby villages and rural areas had participated.  They all were given free consultation and treatment and follow-up protocol was given.  

On 8th September 2022, Invited Guests Dr.M.S.Satish, MPT, PHD., Chief Physiotherapist, Cancer Institute, Adyar and Dr.P.Senthil, MPT, PHD., Dean, Chettinad School of Physiotherapy were presented their scientific advancements in physiotherapy practice.  Teaching Faculty too had presented with their scientific paper presentations, Students had presented poster competitions and quiz competition was conducted.

PT DAY WEBINAR – SEP 2020

  • WCPT Day Webinar was conducted on Sports Fitness by Prof. R. Radhakrishnan, Principal & HOD, Tagore College of Physiotherapy
  • Around 100 participants attended includes students, physiotherapists and working professionals in the field of sports.
  • It was organised in collaboration with Chettinad Academy of Research & Education.

WCPT DAY – SEP 2019

  • WCPT Day was conducted for creating awareness programme among common public & patients.
  • The programme was arranged by the faculty and staff members of Dept. of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation.
  • It was honoured by the Medical College Dean, Medical Superintendent and other Dept.HOD’s.

SPINAL REHABILITATION PROGRAMME – JULY 2019

  • Conducted Spinal Rehabilitation programme and training to the spinal cord injured patients.
  • Done in collaboration with Spinal Injured Persons Association (SIPA) of Kancheepuram district.
  • Participants were done rehabilitation training and follow up sessions on way.
