RULES AND REGULATIONS

CAMPUS RULES

  • Students’ vehicles are not permitted inside the campus.
  • Student behaviour must reflect professionalism both inside and outside the campus.
  • Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited on campus.
  • Students must participate in academic, social, and environmental activities.
  • Damaging college property is a punishable offense.

COLLEGE RULES

  • The academic year begins in August, and parents must ensure fee payment during June and July.
  • Discontinued students must clear full academic year fees to receive T.C. and documents.
  • Monthly tests and model exams are mandatory, and malpractice will lead to disciplinary action.
  • Misuse of college-related information on social media will result in strict disciplinary measures.
  • Emergency leave must be informed to the office landline by the parent on the same day.
  • Leave of five or more days continuously requires the parent to submit a letter in person.
  • Attendance at all Parent-Teacher Meetings is compulsory for parents.
  • Students must maintain at least 85% attendance to attend university examination.

CLASSROOM RULES

  • Students must reach the classroom on or before 8:30 AM  and shall not leave the premises without knowledge of concerning staff
  • Proper uniform, white coat, and shoes must be worn at all times with ID cards.
  • No trash or plastic should be discarded inside the classroom/college campus.3

INTERNSHIP RULES

  • The internship shall be for 6 months (5 days/week, 8 hours/day) and must be completed at Tagore Medical College and Hospital (TMCH), approved by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) of India.
  • The aim is to enable graduates to independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients, enhance clinical skills, communicate effectively, and stay updated with current advancements.
  • The B.P.T degree will be granted only upon successful and satisfactory completion of the internship.
  • Interns must maintain a record of work, which will be evaluated by the Head of Department for discipline, skills, and attitude, and reports will be submitted to the parent institution.
  • Interns are required to follow all rules and regulations of the institution and hospital during the internship.
