Tagore College of Physiotherapy is one of the constituent colleges of the Tagore Group of Institutions, which includes Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering, and Arts & Sciences colleges. Since 2019, the institution has earned recognition for its remarkable academic achievements. The college is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu, Department of Health & Family Welfare (PME–2) with G.O. (Ms) No. 93 and is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. It is supported by a well-established multi-speciality hospital that provides advanced clinical exposure for students.

Students receive extensive clinical exposure across various departments of Tagore Medical College and Hospital. In addition, students are also posted to premier institutes in and around Chennai to broaden their clinical learning experience and gain exposure to diverse healthcare settings.
